Safety and Quality Management
The department ensures strict compliance with all international regulatory frameworks as required by the International Safety Management code (ISM), including ship and head office internal audits, classification society requirements as well as flag registration requirements.
The team also ensures the maintenance of security guidelines as required by the International Ship and Port Security regulations (ISPS) and the maintenance of company’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certification and ISO 14000:2004 Environmental Management System.
The team also oversees Port State Control inspections, charterers vetting inspections (Rightship, etc.) as well as any other required monitoring.
